IN ORDER FOR THE MAINTENANCE DEPT TO INSTALL A NEW WATER VALVE, THE WATER WILL BE SHUT DOWN ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS FROM SECOND NORTH ST. SOUTH TO CARPENTERS AUTOMOTIVE ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 16TH FROM NOON UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 4 PM. 

TOWN-WIDE GARAGE SALES WILL BE HELD MAY 18TH & MAY 19TH.  REGISTER AT THE VILLAGE HALL ($5) FOR A SPOT ON THE MAP.  MAPS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT LOCAL BUSINESSES.

LEAF BAG PICK UP WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4, 2012 AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2012. 

10 Free Bags will be given to each household. After the first 10, Bags can be purchased at the Village Office for $1.00 a bag.  Only Kankakee Sanitary bags will be picked up.

BURN DATES:  1ST & 3RD FULL WEEKENDS OF EACH MONTH.  NEXT BURN DATES ARE:

Friday, Mar 2nd & Saturday Mar 3rd and Fri Mar 16th & Saturday Mar 17th

Friday, Apr 6th and Saturday Apr 7th and Fri Apr 20th & Saturday, April 21st

Friday, May 4th and Saturday May 5th and Fri May 18th and Saturday May 19th

Maintenance Personnel will be doing random smoke testing throughout the Village in the near future.  This is to insure no one is hooked up to the sanitary sewer illegally.  Hooking up a sump pump, down spouts, etc only ends up costing you the Village resident more. 

NO DUMPING ALLOWED -

It is illegal to dump anything at the American Legion Park.
